Hello Readers,
Thank God I'm out of bed and feeling much better. A lot of rest was welcomed by my body and it was just what I needed. My appetite has not come back for solids but give it a couple days and it will! (smile) I'm not out of the woods completely so I'm going to spend next week taking it easy!
I was researching information on the topic Dementia and Parkinson's. I've been exhibiting some signs but it could be the change in my medications recently. Below is an exert and the address to read the whole article will be at the end. Enjoy and feel free to comment. Be Brave!

~DEMENTIA and PARKINSON's~
Dementia doesn't affect everyone with Parkinson's. However, it is more common in people with the condition than those without.
There are 2 forms of dementia associated with Parkinson's. When a dementia diagnosis is being made by a specialist:
Parkinson's dementia is diagnosed when someone already has the movement (motor) symptoms of Parkinson's and has had them for some time.
Dementia with Lewy bodies is diagnosed when someone has the symptoms of dementia either before or at the same time as they develop Parkinson's.
It's important to speak to your GP, specialist or Parkinson's nurse if you think you have the symptoms of dementia - or if you think someone you care for does.
It's rare that someone under the age of 65 will develop dementia.

Hello Readers,
Day two of being bed ridden! The medicine and soup are helping but my body aches. Some Facebook friends have posted home made remedies and I thank them for that.
I hope someone watched yesterday's video. It is so ironic that after watching the video I was up until 4:00 am. I didn't get on the computer or television. I laid there and prayed and eventually I went to sleep. I don't get into any readers religion. I know that I serve the Lord, Jesus Christ and praying to him helps me to cope.
Sorry but I'm tired and back to bed I go!

Monday~
Monday opened up with body aches, chest congestion and a headache! I have been careful to not catch a cold or flu in years. I hope it's just for one day cold. When you have PD, you can only have certain medication so my daughter was at the pharmacy reading the label until she found the right thing. So I'm resting with soup, orange juice and cold and flu medicine :):)
I posted this video from the Michael J. Fox foundation about sleep disorders because I don't sleep very well. My neurologist suggested sleeping pills which I passed on. I didn't want anymore medications. I'm certain that there's information that can be helpful to you. Enjoy and feel free to comment.
Back to bed for rest! Be Brave!
